1. “In terms of” something else
The audience could relate the images, or the sentiment behind the images, to their experiences or the way they currently feel regarding their future and their goals in life, and how easy it is to get discouraged, disillusioned, doubtful etc. when their dreams are put on hold or aren't reached fast enough or aren't reached at all. I'm probably going to have to edit my current prezi to appeal to the audience better.
2. Within a particular genre
I'm not sure what genre these photos are. I took them myself using my cellphone and manipulated them. Would the genre be fine art photography (As mentioned in the Morris article)? Black and white photography (Even though none of the photos were black and white originally) ?
3. In light of personal observation
Since I took the photos, I know where and when they were taken. I wanted to get something new out of them. That's why manipulated them. I also got a lot out of them by placing them next to photos that they originally had no connection with.
I want the images to try to convey weariness and uncertainty, as well disillusionment and pessimism. That's why there are images of booze and a dead end job, and why the photos of goals that I have/had (the guitar for example) are blurry. I'm going to change/edit some of the photos, though.
4.In the company of others
Though they might not relate to the situations presented in the prezi, hopefully the audience can understand how I'm using these photos to convey them, and can at least relate to the idea of being unsure, frustrated or disappointed with the direction of one's life.
